Toulouse Tensor Workshop 2025

[News] The preliminary program has been published
[News] The (partial) list of participants has been updated

Workshop with active developers of tensor software present.

 ABOUT

Tensor Workshop logoThe workshop builds on the 2024 CECAM Workshop on Tensor Contraction Library Standardization which took place in Toulouse May 22-24 and led to the formation of a tensor standardization working group, which has since specified a low-level standard interface for tensor operations available freely on GitHub.

The 2025 workshop is application-oriented and will enable the scientists to perform their simulations on state-of-the-art machines by providing a high-level interface towards tensor software tailored to the specific needs of material science and electronic structure calculations. We aim to connect the scientists with the relevant tensor software experts, who have the know-how to provide the technical support and deliver specific requirements of our community like tensor decompositions, symmetric tensors and structured sparsity support.
